As Head of Sales at Sigma, Dipesh leads a broad customer and commercial function encompassing Customer Success, Sales and Customer Services. He is responsible for driving sustainable sales growth, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring Sigma delivers a consistently strong experience for its customers.
Dipesh joined Sigma in 2019 and brings more than 20 years’ experience across community pharmacy, pharmaceutical wholesale and pharmacy support organisations. Before joining Sigma, he worked with several independent pharmacy buying groups, supporting pharmacy contractors to maximise their commercial performance through purchasing strategies, business support and training.
His experience working closely with independent pharmacies has given him a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing community pharmacy, as well as the important role played by wholesalers, manufacturers, technology providers and other industry partners. At Sigma, he draws on this experience to help shape commercial strategy while ensuring the needs and feedback of customers remain central to the business.
Outside of work, Dipesh is a keen golfer and Arsenal supporter and enjoys taking on the occasional physical challenge. His adventures have included driving across Sri Lanka and India in three-wheeler tuk-tuks, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and reaching Everest Base Camp. Watch this space for the next adventure…
